I’ve listed below links for some of the rental advertising communities we participate in, so feel free to browse these listings and get an idea of the market. We are also on Apartments.com, ApartmentFinder.com, CorporateHousing.com, HotPads, Rent.com, CityRealty.com, etc – these sites just don’t currently offer a way to link to our total listings roster (but feel free to Google us there!).
This is by no means an all-inclusive list of current availabilities in Manhattan, as every aggregate allows different types of apartments to be advertised and has different costs involved for agents to be active on their portal. Most “good deals” rent long before they make it online, and many of these websites make it difficult for us to remove listings once they’ve been rented (the more listings they show as available, the more traffic they get to their site, and the more advertising dollars they generate – at the expense of everyone else [renters/landlords/agents]). For all of these reasons, conducting an effective apartment hunt from soup to nuts on these portals is a roll of the dice, at best.
To help navigate through the mire, we meet all of our clients briefly in our office before hitting the ground running. This allows us to get to know your needs intimately and use our internal database (populated directly from landlords / management companies / REBNY feeds, vs. third and fourth hand from other agents and websites) to build an accurate and thorough list of properties that match your criteria. We have ready access to 95% of available vacancies in Manhattan, and will use all of our resources to make your search as easy, efficient and fun as possible.
For more information or for any questions about our listings, please check out the FAQs page of our site – or reach out directly! We’d love the opportunity to help you make your apartment search in New York City a pleasant one.
